What smart controls fix at home

An old programmer nobody can work out

Swap it for a smart thermostat you control from your phone. We set your schedules up with you, so it works from day one.

Hive, Nest or tado°? →

Heating on when nobody’s home

Schedules that match your week, a quick boost from the app, and away modes that turn things down when the house is empty.

Nest learns your routine →

Some rooms too hot, others too cold

Smart radiator valves give each room its own temperature and schedule, so the spare room stops being heated for nobody.

Room by room with tado° →

A hot water tank heated all day

With the right kit, your hot water runs on its own schedule too, so the tank is only heated when you need it.

Hive heating and hot water →

Underfloor heating that’s hard to control

Heatmiser thermostats give each underfloor zone its own schedule, all run from one app. We fit the controls, not the pipes.

Thermostats for underfloor heating →

Building or renovating

Plan your heating controls early, while walls are open, so the wiring ends up where the thermostats should go.

How it works

Three steps to a smarter, cosier home

  1. Free survey

We check your boiler, wiring and Wi-Fi, ask how you live, and recommend the system that suits your home, and exactly which kit to buy.

  2. Fit & set up

Neat, tidy installation, usually in a single visit. We connect everything to the app and set your schedules with you.

  3. We show you how

A proper walkthrough on your own phone before we leave, and we’re a call away if anything needs tweaking later.

Cost

What does it cost?

Fitting starts from £75, plus the cost of the thermostat itself. We don’t sell the equipment; we tell you exactly what to buy. The total depends on the system, whether you add radiator valves or hot water control, and how your boiler and wiring are set up. The survey is free and you get a clear quote before any work starts.

FAQs

Questions from homeowners

Is a smart thermostat worth it for a small house or flat?

Usually, yes. Control from your phone and proper schedules help in any size of home. Radiator valves in every room matter less in a small flat, so we’ll tell you if a thermostat on its own is all you need.

Can I keep my existing radiators?

Yes. Smart thermostats work with the radiators you have. If you want room-by-room control, smart radiator valves replace the valves on your existing radiators. No new radiators or pipework needed.

I’m renovating. When should smart controls go in?

Ideally plan them before the walls are closed up, so the wiring for the thermostat and receiver is in the right place. Get in touch early and tell us your timeline.

I rent my home. Can I have one fitted?

You’ll need your landlord’s permission to change the heating controls. If you’re a landlord, smart controls let you keep an eye on the heating in your property from your phone.
